things are getting quite different now

mikah sykes and willis ransom

everything i do stems from our earlier projects. willis and i have recently reconvened, and we are approaching all future projects as a team, and most importantly, as family.

there is no more mikah sykes. for now i call it “national forest.” that is what i am calling this project until willis and i can agree upon a name. in the meantime, we meet at his blueberry farm to hash out the details, aka new sounds.

for years willis has been one of two people that speaks the same language as me, musically speaking. this is an exciting time.

Little Two's "World War IV Album" was recorded in in 2002. The brainchild of Mikah Sykes, Emily Kokal (of LA based band Warpaint), and Willis Ransom (Mos 8 Kid); Little Two's was a mess of nature-core folk, backyard bonfire singalongs, free jazz, and the feeling that the end is near.
